Split Resurgence
Price range: $1.00 through $2,350.00
A single fallen redwood, split cleanly through its massive trunk, lies on either side of a quiet forest path. Moss has begun to take hold on its freshly cut faces, softening what was once a violent rupture into a scene of renewal.

A single fallen redwood, split cleanly through its massive trunk, lies on either side of a quiet forest path. Moss has begun to take hold on its freshly cut faces, softening what was once a violent rupture into a scene of renewal. The two halves of the great tree frame the way forward—like a gate formed by time and transformation.
This image is a meditation on change. In Buddhist tradition, what appears to be an ending is simply the next phase of becoming. The redwood no longer stands, but it has not disappeared. It offers shelter, nourishment, and a moment of stillness for those who walk this path. In the forest, nothing is lost—only reshaped.
